ABOUT

I endeavor to design next-generation technologies that benefits humanity. This is accomplished using my knowledge and experience in project management, mechanical and thermal design engineering, and leadership.

I was born in Jerusalem, Israel. Grew up playing Legos, building castles and designing intricate structures from my imagination. I fell in love in space exploration at the age of seven while visiting the Smithsonian Air and Space museum in Washington DC.

Completed my studies in high school with excellence and served in the Israeli Air Force as a math/physics instructor.

Studied mechanical engineering in Ben-Gurion University. Invented a unique firewall for our Formula SAE racecar that used space materials.

Worked as a design and manufacturing engineer in Jerusalem for three years. Studied in the International Space University and designed a 200-person artificial gravity spaceship concept for a commercial company.

Lead a multidisciplinary team of 6 students to design an artificial gravity spaceship to Mars. Acted as the principal investigator, set goals, and developed artificial gravity spaceship concepts. In addition, I was in charge of thermal design and vibration analysis of a 3-U CubeSat to accommodate a Vector commercial payload as part of USC’s Space Engineering Research Center. Currently working on a USC-JPL Robotics joint project designing a flexible mechanism which grabs satellites in space using electro-adhesion.

I enjoy helping others and have volunteered extensively in Israel: helping the elderly carry groceries to their homes, organizing social activities for autistic children and helping struggling young adults attain their high school diploma.

My hobbies include language learning, surfing, playing drums and comedy improv.
